Reclaim

“As COVID-19 spread and the world entered lockdown, our population was faced with unprecedented and uncertain times. As we humans learnt to adapt to our new way of life, connecting with nature seems more important now than it has ever been.“ - Taken from my book, reclaim

From the radioactive wastelands of Chernobyl, to places which once played a part in Cornwall’s industrial past, and even the university campus, this project is an exploration of how the natural world has responded and adapted to the disappearance of humans in the past.

Although each location was abandoned for different reasons, they give a glimpse into a post-apocalyptic world filled with new life, despite the impact of human activity.
